To get started with FastCopy, you must download a small, 372KB archive. Inside the archive there’s a setup.exe file – run it and you will very quickly install FastCopy on your Windows-powered machine. Alternatively, if you only run the FastCopy.exe file from the archive, you will start using the application without having to install it.

The interface is a minimalist one: the source and destination directory options are at the top, a traditional File menu is at the top, the Execute button is in the lower right hand side. A quick glance at the interface and you will have everything figured out. Not having to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to the interface is always a nice thing.

Using fast copy to copy files from one location to another is a very straightforward matter. The first thing you have to do is select a source and a destination directory. The next step includes the following: set the buffer, choose to shut down the computer once the process is over, choose to copy only certain files. All you have to do after that is hit the execute button and let FastCopy do its job. As previously stated, the application will quickly copy files from one location to another.

The thing is that copying data is just part of the functionality offered by FastCopy. You can also use the application to sync, move, or delete data.
